Car Dealership

My husband had to get a second job because the economy has been so bad. We really need the extra money. He got a job selling cars at a local dealership. The man that owns the dealership also has three others in different areas of town. I think that guy must be loaded. My husband thinks that the dealership is one of the nicest in town. The showroom is very big, and there are a lot of bays for people to have their car serviced. Our neighbor went up to see my husband at work because he is thinking about buying a car from him. He took him on a tour of the whole place and even showed him the internet service they got from here. They found a car that my neighbor really wants to buy. He just has to take his wife up there and convince her that they need to buy a new car. My husband gets paid on commission only so I decided that we need to get the word out that he is working there. We have a lot of friends through our church and our kids’ athletic teams. If we can get them to start thinking about buying a car from him, then maybe he can bump up his income some. We really need some extra income right now.

Too many democrats

Ever since we got cable television, I have become hooked on The View. This show is about a group of women who sit around a table and talk about current events or just daily gossip. Sometimes they interview different stars or entertainers. It seems like they are always getting into arguments with each other. The arguments stem from the people on there who are very liberal disagreeing with the others on the show who tend to be on the more conservative side. It is obvious when they get into political discussions that the liberal women are democrats and the conservative women are republicans. And to tell you the truth, there are more liberals on the show than there are conservatives. I always record this program so I can watch it when I get home from work. My husband thinks I am crazy to watch it because I always get mad about some topic that they are discussing. But that is exactly why I like to watch it. It tends to get my blood boiling and makes me feel like I am right there with them on the show. At least it is not boring.
